The 10/11 favourite Ahandfulofsummers was always travelling like a winner in the Irish EBF Supporting TREO EILE Fillies Maiden.

The Irish Oaks also-ran tracked the leaders before hitting the front over a furlong out and was driven clear by Chris Hayes to beat Essential Part by three and a half lengths.

Fozzy Stack’s daughter of Galileo had been placed in four of her eight starts including a runner-up effort in a Group 3 at the Curragh last year.

She was beaten more than twenty lengths by yesterday’s Arc sixth Snowfall when tried at Classic level on her previous outing in July.

It was a quick double for the winning rider after Enthrallment in the opener.

Hayes remarked: "She was good, was entitled to do it and has a lovely pedigree so it was nice to get that win out of the way.

"She had a break, has a bit of condition so should improve and I presume we'll have another crack at black-type.

"She showed a bit of pace today and I'd suggest the Garnet Stakes (at Naas on October 17th) but I'll leave that up to Fozzy (Stack). With the pace she has, a mile might be far enough for her on that ground."
