Suityourselfboss placed three times at Dundalk earlier this year before disappointing last time, finally got her turn when taking division one of the Get Best Odds Guaranteed At BetVictor Handicap.
The Michael Browne-trained mare was never too far from the pace in this mile event and struck the front under two furlongs out.
The 7/1 chance kept on really well under Wayne Hassett inside the final furlong to beat Alabama Calling by three and three-quarter lengths. Chummie adopted her usual front-running role finishing a further two and a quarter lengths back in third.
Browne said, "She was entitled to do that but she's a nervous kind of a mare, she's always promised that she would.
“The last day the race didn't suit. She was caught wide the whole time, had no cover, and they only walked. She needs a good pace, she doesn't quicken but she lengthens and stays going.
“Its great that she's won and it was a great thrill.
“She's not a bad filly and she's improving the whole time. I'll give her a little break now, she wants good ground so I'll wait for a month or two.”
