Steve Capall made it a winning debut over fences after he won the concluding race on this evening’s card, the Moate Beginners Chase in the hands of Paul Carberry.

Winning trainer Meade said afterwards: “We’ve nothing but school him since Galway and it’s worked out well.”

“We will probably go for something similar maybe a winner’s race or that we will keep him on the go now.”
