Sounds Of Heaven confirmed the promise of her debut at Gowran Park last month as the Jessica Harrington-trained filly opened her account in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Leopardstown.

The daughter of Kingman got going late to finish fourth on debut and the form of that race has been working out well with the runner-up landing a Group 3 at the Curragh last weekend.

The 2/1 shot headed the front-running Starry Eyed over a furlong out and kept on well under Shane Foley to beat Boogie Woogie by a length. Shamida caught the eye on debut staying on nicely just a neck further back in third with 13/8 favourite Starry Eyed dropping back to finish fourth.

Harrington said, "She's a lovely filly. She came on from Gowran, she was entitled to. Shane said she did everything right and she'll be put away now for the winter.

“We'll see how far she gets next year. Shane thinks she might be a mile-and-a-quarter filly.

“I don't know where she'll start off next year, we'll see how she gets through the winter. She's got her maiden under her belt now.”
