After losing Positive Outlook in the first when that daughter of Oscar was looking a likely winner, there was a small measure of compensation in division two of the Loch Garman Mares Maiden Hurdle for Paul Nolan and Sean O’Keeffe as Cash Me Outside won.
This 4/7 shot was made work to land the odds in the second event at Wexford, but she eventually got it done by half a length from Capture The Action
"It's nice to get back with a winner after what happened the mare in the first. She would have been a nice mare when we'd eventually get her to settle, but that's racing," said Nolan.
"This mare wants a half mile further and she was leaning the whole way with Sean. She was tough after the last, I thought she was going to be collared because the second horse jumped it well as well. She toughed it out well and handled the ground.
"I said to Sean not to take her out of her comfort zone. He could never take her back and her jumping kept her in it. She'll more than likely go for a handicap now but we'll see."
R.P. Treacy, rider of Aileens Joy trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount cocked his jaw and ran out for no apparent reason.
