Slaney Tide completed a 66/1 double for trainer Jim Bolger when making all the running under Luke McAteer to land the concluding Care At Home Services Handicap at Naas.

Bolger, successful in the penultimate race with Clever And Cool saw his own colours carried to success by the daughter of Dawn Approach.

Well away under the stable apprentice, the filly looked to be in trouble when the well backed Ahsuruknowurself loomed up travelling well over a furlong out but typical of her trainers stock the three-year-old showed plenty resolution and wasn't for passing.

As Ahsuruknowurself could find no extra inside the last furlong, Lilac Lady stayed on well to take second, with Lucky Question back in third.

Ger Flynn (travelling head lad), “It was a very clever ride. He used his low draw and said he was always going to go forward. He dictated the race in front, pulled it up a little bit and then kicked clear.

“She actually handled the ground really well. I think that was the difference along with the ride.”
