Silverlord wins Down Royal's opener
The opening Sean Graham Bookmakers Maiden Hurdle at Down Royal today went to the Gordon Elliott trained Silverlord under Jason Maguire, who benefited from the final flight fall of leader Dylan Ross
Afterwards Elliott’s representative Iam Amond stated “if ever there was a day when we would beat Dylan Ross it would be today because of his lack of hurdle experience but saying that we were very lucky.”
He added “he is more a summer horse though and its the first winner for his owner Stephanie Swift.”
