Sharlanda scores for Bowe/Flanagan

The Colin Bowe trained Sharlanda got off the mark at the second attempt over fences at Limerick today, landing the Limerick's Live 95FM (Mares) Beginners Chase under Sean Flanagan.

The daughter of sprinting star Choisir showed the benefit of her July 9th debut fences outing and today scored a comfortable win over Flaviana

Bowe later said “she was deadly there. We didn’t know if she’d handle the soft ground as we only have her a year and I’d say she’ll go 2m4f easily.

“She is in-foal to Ol’ Man River and only has a month left to race so we might be tempted to go for a black-type race now.”
