Separate Ways wins easily for Marnane/McDonogh
David Marnane saddled his 14th winner of the season at Killarney today when Separate Ways made a winning debut for the Co Tipperary trainer in the Robin Parke Memorial Handicap.
Ridden by Declan McDonogh, the son of Chevalier sprinted clear of his rivals in the straight and eventually recorded a ten lengths win over runner-up Carbonia
Afterwards Marnane reported “I didn't think Separate Ways would handle the soft ground but he handled it far better than any of his rivals! We'll see what the handicapper does now but he will probably go to Galway.”
