The Harry Rogers trained Remarkable Lady ran out a comfortable winner of the concluding Irish Stallions Farms EBF Fillies Handicap.
Having won her maiden at Tramore last August, the daughter of Zoffany disappointed on her next three starts.
She was seventh and eighth on her first two outings of 2017, finishing a well-beaten third on her most recent effort at Roscommon earlier this month.
Dropped back in trip to a mile today she was sent off at 16/1 in the colours of owners the Nap Racing Syndicate.
Settled well off the pace by Sean Davis, she closed on the leaders from the three furlong pole.
She was ridden with two furlongs left to race and soon came through to challenge, hitting the front inside the final furlong, keeping on strongly to score by four lengths. Honor Oak finished second at 7/1 (from 8's) under Shane Foley for Tom Hogan, while Prove The Point (20/1) was a head back in third with Killian Leonard in the saddle for Michael Mulvany. The Tulip was sent off the 5/1 favourite, and she was another length back in fourth under Pat Smullen for Eddie Lynam.
Harry Rogers said afterwards: "She disappointed in Roscommon when she probably didn't stay the trip.
"In fairness to Pat Smullen he said drop her back in trip and she'd draw. She did it well.
"She might go to the Curragh next weekend if she comes out of it alright. There is a fillies handicap over a mile there."
