Turning out quickly after a Dundalk second placing last night, Elusive In Paris justified favouritism in the St Patrick's Well Claiming Race at Clonmel.
On outing number three for the Ellmarie Holden yard the Declan McDonogh ridden 15/8 shot got the better of Torthai An Ghra by a length and a half.
"He was second at Dundalk last night and again the week before and we said we'd run away today as he was in good form. We weren't too sure about the ground but he came out of the race well and ate up this morning so there was no reason not to run him," said Miss Holden.
"We'll give him a two weeks break now and then pick out another race. He's had his own little problems so he won't jump hurdles."
The third-placed Stadius was the subject of a 'friendly claim' from his owners for 6,000 Euros.
There were no other claims.
