“He’s a horse for the future and we’ll take our time with him. He’s not a real bumper horse," commented Gordon Elliott after winning his fourth race of the St Stephen's Day fare, the Race And Stay At Leopardstown INH Flat Race with Pour Les Filles
Harry Swan got the Pour Moi youngster up for owners Kenny and Laura Haughey and Kieran Byrne, to beat the Mullins favourite, Did I Ask You That by a neck.
Pour Les Filles had won a Bartlemy point-to-point 232 days back when under Colin Motherway's tutelage, and he was purchased as a three-year-old by Davy Russell.
“His ground was taken and he did very well to get back up. If he’d got beaten he would have been very unlucky," elaborated Elliott.
The other Elliott winners today were Ludus and Gerri Colombe at Limerick, and Lucky Lyreen at Down Royal.

Harney stated that he suffered interference from his outside. Mr. H.C. Swan stated that he had to check his mount off heels. Mr. P. W. Mullins accepted that tight riding had occurred but was satisfied that he was clear while riding towards the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. P W.
