Playboy ends Hamilton's seconditis
Playboy Luke ended a frustrating run for Northern handler Brian Hamilton when running out a game winner of the Dungarvan Maiden Hurdle at Gowran.
Three jumped the last together bit it was Davy Russell's mount who found most on the run-in to score from the Willie Mullins pair Glenlo Abbey and Angus House
It was a quick double for Russell, who had landed the previous contest on Instinctive
"I've had seven seconds since February and I've only run ten horses. Thank god we got on the scoresheet as that's what keeps the whole thing going," said Hamilton.
"He'll go chasing next year and he jumps well. The owner missed it as he's away in Scotland."
