No arguing with Disagree
Disagree got off the mark in good style in the auction maiden at Dundalk when staying on strongly down the straight to score.
Johnny Murtagh always had his mount handy and he took up the running at halfway.
Ger Lyons' charge was strongly pressed down the straight but asserted inside the final furlong to record a length-and-three-quarters victory over Bogini
"He was carrying a lot of weight and we gelded him which made all the difference," revealed Lyons.
"I told the owner in Australia after the last day that I thought he'd win if we found the right race for him.
"The only reason we stuck blinkers on him today was that we thought six furlongs was on the sharp side - he wants seven.
"I wanted a horse for this race as the €10,000 yearling bonus is very important for owners."
