Murtagh has to work on Dawariya
Dawariya got the job done in the Fillies Maiden at Ballinrobe but had to work to justify odds of 4/9.
Johnny Murtagh charted a wide course on the Aga Khan's filly and she looked ill at ease on the tight turning course.
John Oxx 's charge got into contention turning for home and always just had too much in hand for Black Belt inside the final furlong, recording a three-parts victory.
"It's not an easy track to bring an inexperienced filly to but she did it well in the end and has a winning bracket now," said Murtagh afterwards.
The winner proved a warm order after finishing a promising third on her debut at Naas behind a decent sort in Claiomh Solais.
