Au Fleuron (10/3) hit the front turning for home in the Lisronagh Point-To-Point INH Flat Race and Jamie Codd merely had to push him out in the final furlong for a four and a half length victory.
There was a further half a length separating the raw-looking Zero Tolerance (16/1) and Da Capo Glory (12/1) in second and third.
The 4-year-old by Crillon, whose standout performer has been dual Champion Hurdle winner Buveur D’Air, cost E37,000 last year and connections will be hopeful of a substantial profit on the back of this win as the for-sale sign is most definitely in place.
Winning trainer Denis Murphy said: ‘He is very nice and his work was savage at home, it was unreal and if that lad got beaten we were going to be in bother!
"We wouldn't be training them fast enough and train them differently and he was green, and he is savage to jump."
