Potters Point was too strong for his rivals in the bumper at Fairyhouse as he came in four and a half lengths to the good for trainer Willie Mullins.

The 11/8 favourite set the pace throughout under Patrick Mullins. There were plenty of horses jostling to get into contention on the approach to the home straight, but it was Don't Touch It who threw down his challenge with just over two furlongs to race.

He was a length off the leader and came under Mark Fahey's whip but try as he might he couldn't get on terms and Potters Point asserted in the final 200 yards for a clear-cut victory.

The runner-up was returned at 3/1. Lip Service at 9/2 came through for third albeit a further eight and a half lengths down.

"I gave him an awful ride the first day in Naas and we probably rushed him back a bit then to qualify for Cheltenham," said Patrick Mullins.

"My pesky 7lb claiming cousin (David Mullins) beat me both days so I'm glad he wasn't riding against me today!

"His work at home is spectacular and he would have won a lot easier today but he was hanging fire on his own.

"I think he has a big engine. He's 17 hands but he's not slow either."

This gave Willie Mullins a double at Punchestown as he also landed the opening maiden hurdle with Limini
