Mountain Coral wins again

The Frank Oakes owned and trained Mountain Coral won for the fourth time in five starts when taking the Furey Brothers Play Derby Friday Handicap at The Curragh.

The home-bred gelding was once tried over hurdles, but sprinting is his game and according to Oakes he may not be finished winning just yet.

"He is improving all the time. He loves fast ground so I was worried about this evening's conditions. Niall (McCullagh)has been a great help with him, he comes in and rides work whenever I need him."
