Anyone who had the tricast in the Grade C Easter Handicap Hurdle would be 2414.39 euro richer for a euro stake in a race dominated by bigger-priced horses. Misty Lady at 12/1 took the spoils in this valuable two mile three handicap. She had a lovely run round the inner and took up the running after the fourth last.
Andrew Ring got a good jump from her at the third last and second last and that helped her repel the dogged Mrs Mac Veale (14/1) who chased her all the way to the line, but gave best by two and a half lengths.
It was the same distance back to third-placed Why Not Thistle at 14/1. As 17 went to post, there was also a place dividend on 25/1 chance Moores Road who occupied fourth place.
Trainer John Cullen said: "She's tough and takes everything in her stride. She seems to be improving every day and nothing phases her. We'll look at Punchestown next for her."
Cullen has five in training and the winner is owned by Imelda and Mick Lynch, from London.
