The money spoke in the second race at Dundalk as Miracle Cure justified support from 7/2 to 2/1 when winning the mile maiden.
The well-backed second favourite hacked up by four-and-a-quarter-lengths from market leader Roman General (6/4) after hitting the front over a furlong out.
Kevin Manning was on the Jim Bolger-trained three-year-old colt. Afterwards Manning said: “He beat a lot of 70-80 rated horses. The second horse is well exposed. He was entitled to do that. I don’t think a step up in trip would be issue.”
Roman General pipped 66/1 chance Destiny’s Child by a neck for second.
This was Jim Bolger’s third winner from his last ten runners at Dundalk.
