Mini Chou lands a gamble
Willie McCreery's Mini Chou took the apprentice fillies' maiden over six furlongs at Dundalk under Kieran O'Neill to land a morning gamble from 10/1 to 7/1.
It was a family affair as Mini Chou beat Willie's brother Peter McCreery's Sovereign Secure into second place by three parts of a length with Ibelieveinmiracles a short head back in third.
Trainer Willie McCreery said: "I'm delighted to win with her. I bred her and I've seen her every day and she is owned by my wife."
Dermot Weld 's Atyaab the 9/4 favourite proved disappointing back in 11th place.
