Les Fazzani another for Carroll

Gary Carroll registered another winner on his headway to the top when his mount, Les Fazzani defied top-weight in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Autumn Fillies Handicap.

This premier handicap saw Kevin Ryan's 12/1 shot lead inside the final furlong before going on to see off the staying on Cruel Sea by a length and a quarter.

The winning owner, Dr Marwan Koukash also had Hindu Kush in action today, that one finishing in mid-field in the Betfred.com Old Borough Cup Heritage Handicap at Haydock. Adjaliya (14s in the morning, ended up the 4/1 favourite) could only manage fourth.
