Relative to market expectations Sirici has been an over-achiever from the start and she surpassed herself this evening when landing the Listed Coolmore Pride Of Dubai Tipperary Stakes.
The 14/1 victor reversed Queen Mary form from Royal Ascot from just over a fortnight back with Now You're Talking
Just over a length and a half split five of the six of them here, and under Chris Hayes Sirici edged out Actress (4/5 favourite) and Now You're Talking by a neck and a short head.
Winning trainer Fozzy Stack said on the Michael Slevin-owned Sirici: "She did it well. At Naas the ground was a little soft for her and at Ascot we didn't make enough use of her, because she has a very high cruising speed and keeps going.
"We went back to basics and left her jump and run and it is grand it has worked out for her.
"Whether (owners) Michael Slevin and David Wachman want to keep her in training next year or send her straight to the breeding sheds, I don't know. She is after winning two races and a Listed race so doesn't have to do much more.
"She's not over-big and I was hoping she'd be placed and she is also the first foal out of the mare so has done her no harm!"
