Jo Go sprang a 20/1 shock in the Holy Thursday Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel under a well judged ride from Davy Condon.
The Old Vic mare, making her handicap debut, was held up towards rear in the three-miler before taking closer order on the top turn.
She disputed early in the straight with long-time leader Samanntom and Claire Pet and went on after the last.
Binowagh Bay finished well to take the runner-up spot but could only get within two-lengths of the Cathy O'Leary-trained winner.
It was a welcome success for the Trim handler, who was leading up her charge, the first since Otterstown Lady won in Wexford in June 2010.
Condon said:- "She is a good, genuine mare who will give plenty fun for the summer."
There was a nasty fall for Mikey Fogarty, riding Oscar Invitation at the first flight. The hurdle, which was also due to be the seventh and second last, was bypassed as Fogarty received treatment.
Initial reports were that Fogarty had suffered concussion and a knee injury. He was taken to hospital for x-rays on his right knee.
