Jer's Girl was very strong in the market for the opening three-year-old maiden hurdle at Limerick and she readily justified the faith in her with a comprehensive victory.
Gavin Cromwell 's charge was making her jumping debut on the back of two runs in flat maidens that yielded a best finish of second at Sligo in May on heavy ground.
She was well backed from 15/2 to 4/1 before racing and further support at the track saw her price contract from 7/2 to 5/2 favourite.
Ger Fox had the daughter of Jeremy striding along in front on the soft ground but, approaching the second last, both Tamisa and Newberry New looked dangerous in behind.
A slick jump at the penultimate flight saw her move clear of those rivals and once she popped the last she was able to stroll in by seven and a half lengths.
Tamisa (40/1) kept on for second. She was half a length up on Newberry New (5/1).
Ger Fox said: "She loves that ground and travels and jumps great. She wasn't doing much in front but winged the last and was well schooled."
Fox put up 1lb overweight on the winner.
