Hail Shower made a bold bid, from the front, to make it two wins at Listowel 2013 but the favourite ultimately had to make do with third place in the South West Scrap Metal Handicap.
The 'jolly' had to go quick to head off Last Minute Lisa from the gates but she still looked a winner when travelling well in the straight.
However Janna's Jingle came home strong to lead inside the last, going on to beat Snakes And Ladders by a length and a half whilst the aforementioned Hail Shower had no more to give late, in coming in for third place a further half a length adrift.
Pat Shanahan trains Janna's Jingle and he said: "She's going to Dubai on Monday for a winter stint and I think she'll do well out there.
"Ground wise she's versatile – she goes on any. She's game as a pebble too which helps."
Meanwhile Tadhg O'Shea did the steering on the Thistle Bloodstock Limited-owned victor and he disclosed: "She's a nice filly. She won at Windsor last time and that was a good confidence booster for her there.
"She won well again today in what was a very tough race." (TW & EM)
