Inishmot Prince has proved a real star for Tom McCourt and young claimer James Ryan at Dundalk this year and recorded his fifth win since February in the William Hill Bet Boost Handicap.

The Elzaam gelding, owned and bred by Oliver Curtis, has really hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks and this was a third win from his last four starts.

Ryan gave the well-backed 7/2 shot a strong drive in the straight, leading inside the final 150 yards to get the better of Little Quennie by a neck.

The 11/4 favourite Collective Power was a further three quarters of a length back in third.

McCourt said, "He's held his form well for a lad that's been on the go all year. He always gives you the impression that he's just holding on to a bit a lot of the time.

“He's doing things a lot better now, he's getting into a nice position and when he gets over that first furlong he travels away well now. He just does enough and hopefully the handicapper can't really do too much with him.

“It's great to get him back in that kind of form again, he was a little bit frustrating during the summer even though he was running well.

“It's hard to get five in a year with a horse like that so it's great and great for Olly as well. He's a long time patron and deserves every bit of success. He bred him and the dam is in foal again to Elzaam.”
