Fire Away went one better, after a narrow defeat last time, when taking the concluding bumper at Wexford this afternoon.
The Ger Hourigan had went down by half a length to Dinny Lacey in a tight finish at Punchestown last month.
He went to post a 10/1 shot this afternoon and tracked the leaders before kicking for home turning into the straight.
Richie Deegan kept his mount up to his work in the closing stages to record a three-parts-of-a-length win over Braeside
Hourigan said:- "He is a grand horse. I think the ground got him beaten at Punchestown and I can't really understand what happened to him at Limerick (when a well-beaten sixth).
“I thought he would do what he did today in Limerick. Like all of my horses he is for sale."
Deegan was hotfooting it to the south-east venue having partnered a winner at Ballyragget point-to-point in Kilkenny earlier in the day.
