The concluding Join Us Here Again Tomorrow Maiden saw Aidan O'Brien join his wife Annmarie and sons Joseph and Donnacha on the Cork scoresheet as Ballydoyle's Gentile Bellini did the needful.
Gentile Bellini certainly has it on breeding — by Dubawi out of Sky Lantern. Backed from 7/1 into 9/2 on track the 2 million guinea yearling was reappearing off a 167 day break after two outings as a juvenile.
Gentile Bellini made start three a winning one under Seamie Heffernan.
Soon in front, the attractive sort ultimately had a length and three parts in hand over Karakhan
For Annmarie, Joseph and Donnacha O'Brien, Isotope was successful in the three-year-old handicap earlier on the programme.
"He had two nice runs last year and always looked like a horse who was going to improve with more time. He gave me a nice feel," said Heffernan on Gentile Bellini.
"Aidan will make him into a Stakes horse and where he'll end up we'll see."
The Stewards granted permission for a flag start in this race following consultation with the Clerk of the Course, Mr. T.V. O'Connel and the Starter, Mr D. Cullen.
At the request of the Stewards, O.J. Orr, rider of Kefallonia trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early on and emptied in the straight.
