Tipped Up Harry came from last to first to land the Follow Navan On Facebook Handicap Chase under Robbie Power for Denise Foster.
Successful on his last start over the course and distance, the ten-year-old son of Sir Harry Lewis was installed the 2/1 favourite last night.
However he proved easy to back today, opening on-course at 5/2 before going off a 3/1 chance in the colours of owner Jules Sigler.
Settled in rear he improved into fifth three out and went fourth at the next. He was second on the approach to the last, and kept on best for pressure on the run-in, getting up in the closing stages to score by a length and a quarter. De Benno (9/1), who looked the most likely winner after the last, had to settle for second under Adrian Heskin for James Grace. Altiepix was sent off the 9/4 favourite (from 3's on-course) and he finished a disappointing sixth under Jack Kennedy for Gordon Elliott.
Denise Foster said afterwards: "Puppy (Robbie Power) said he was never happy. He was flat out but he felt they went so fast that they would come back to him eventually. I was delighted with how he battled, and he's in such terrific form at the moment.
"I want to get him to Punchestown as his owner, Jules Sigler, is from Canada and goes there every year. It would be great to have a runner for him there."
