Gracious makes all for fine success
Gudnis Gracious Me produced a fine front-running performance to land the two-mile handicap at Ballinrobe.
Shane Gorey bounced the John O'Shea-trained mare out in the lead and she stuck to her guns well in the straight to record a two-length victory.
"She'd not run since Saturday so I thought she might just need it," quipped O'Shea.
"She's unbelievably lazy and I thought the track might be against her but Shane made up her mind.
"She's probably a bit unlucky not to have won over hurdles and will go over fences at some stage."
