Gonebeyondrecall Powers home at Listowel
Jockey Robbie Power landed a double at Listowel today, completing the brace in the featured Dawn Milk Handicap Chase on the Noel Glynn trained Gonebeyondrecall
Power moved the son of Dr Massini to the front before two out, and although helped by Whats Up Gorden #8217;s exit at that fence, the gelding stayed on well for a four and a half lengths win.
Afterwards a delighted Glynn stated “I was hoping to get Gonebeyonerecall into the Kerry National on Wednesday but he was going to miss the ‘cut’ and I suppose it worked out well that he did! He wants further and to this day I can’t know how he, who was one of the best bumper horses of his year, took nine runs to win a chase!”
