Glenquin Castle won for the sixth time in a row when coming home best to nail front-running Final Orders

Final Order gace it a brave go off the front in this extended three mile handicap hurdle and had seen off all challengers except for the biggest one of all.

Glenquin Castle motored home on the run-in and collared Final Orders in the closing stages to win by three parts of a length at 9/2.

Final Orders was well backed from 22/1 to 14/1 but had to settle for second. Ruler Of Dubai (6/1) was another five and a half lengths adrift in third but was clear of fourth home, Gateau De Miel (14/1).

Trainer Martin Brassil said:- “I think more than anything else he has started to enjoy his racing a lot more and he's probably getting confidence from getting his head in front each time.

“I often had horses that wouldn't show you that they were going to win at all and then the minute they win they'll go and do it again. They enjoy it and like the bit of adulation after.

“He started off low enough so it's great for everyone concerned that he's gone and done that.

“It was a great performance by the horse and jockey. Mark (Walsh) knows him so well, if you hit the front at the last with him it's curtains and he might be fifth or sixth.

“I'm delighted to have him because he's a pet in the yard and anyone can ride him. He's lovely to have around the place.”

Glenquin Castle landed three handicap chases in Roscommon, Kilbeggan and Wexford before switching to flights to win in Tipperary, Galway and Punchestown.
