Geraghty completes Northern double
Jockey Barry Geraghty completed a double at Down Royal today, completing his day’s work in the N.I. Hotel Federation Beginners Chase on the Jessica Harrington trained Dundrum
Dundrum moved to the front after two out and had the measure of Games Of Rome when that rival crashed out at the final fence, leading Dundrum to coast home for a comfortable win over Hughies Grey
Harrington was not present for the win but winning owner John Hennessy did report “Dundrum was originally owned by my father who has since passed away. He is named after our home town in Tipperary but I am based in Naas now. He’s a proper horse and there’s plenty of fun to be had with him as he is better on better ground.”
