Foxilian outfoxes her rivals
Foxilian maintained her good recent form by landing the spoils under Declan McDonagh in Division Two of the mile handicap by two and a half lengths from perennial runner up Headford Lady
The Namid filly came from off the pace to forge ahead at the furlong pole for a ready success. Previous course and distance winner Polly Ella filled out the places a further three parts of a length back.
Winning trainer Ken Condon said that McDonagh had to change tactics after the filly missed the break. He said: “The plan was to be fifth or sixth in the running but Declan had to adopt Plan B. She travelled well though and deserved it after some nice runs. I’ll go for something similar with her at seven furlongs or a mile.”
