Not Forgotten gained a deserved win when running out a cosy victor in the mile maiden at Dundalk, bringing up a double on the card for Michael Halford and Tracey Collins.
The grey had been placed on his last three outings and went to post a 8/11 shot to make the breakthrough this afternoon.
Ronan Whelan, who also partnered Cash Collector to success in the opener, produced his mount to challenge early in the straight and he asserted passing the furlong pole for a three-length win.
The National Defense gelding had won a barrier trial at the venue in August 2022.
Collins said: "He had been running consistently well, so he stepped up and he has gone forward. He has done what we expected him to do.
"He (Ronan Whelan) has given him a very positive ride, he is riding out of his skin. He rides up here as well as anybody.
"We will indeed (be busy over the winter series) - the horses have been running consistently very well all through the year. We are very happy with them and they are looking great and running well."
