Colin Bowe's Havana Dancer enjoyed a clear-cut victory in the beginners' chase for mares in Fairyhouse.

Mikey Fogarty 's mount made rapid headway from third to get on terms with 4/6 favourite Whistle Dixie at the fourth last, when the latter crashed out there.

This left Havana Dancer (7/1) a healthy six lengths in front of Degenerous She increased the lead before the second last as Isabella Liberty and Degenerous duelled for second.

She duly negotiated the final two fences and put five lengths on Isabella Liberty (11/4).

Mikey Fogarty said: “Her jumping really won it for her and it’s no accident that the champion point-to-point trainer has her. She had a nice run around Sligo the last day.”

David Mullins had replaced Bryan Cooper on Gigginstown runner Whistle Dixie as Cooper was stood down for the day after being unseated by Ball D'Arc in race three.
