Fairy gives Mulvany More Northern Cheer
Michael Mulvany, based in Kells Co. Meath, has found the Northern tracks a happy hunting ground and The Tooth Fairy did well as a three-year-old to beat mainly older rivals in the Rainbow Telecom Rated Race under talented apprentice, Gary Carroll (19-y-o, 7th winner of the season and 14th in all).
Lady Bolino was Mulvany's first winner when she proved victorious in a Downpatrick bumper in March 2007. Here The Tooth Fairy led inside the final furlong and he went on to defeat the front-running Worldly Wise by two and a half lengths.
Mulvany said: "This horse is pretty versatile, anywhere from five to seven furlongs and he'll probably stay a mile in time. My father, Larry owns him. He might go to Galway."
