Adrian Heskin's trip across the Irish Sea to ride Djingle for the McNeill Family paid off as the 4/5 favourite scored by four lengths.
The six-year-old gelding won a beginners' chase earlier in the month at Listowel and jumped away to lead from flagfall, in his bid to follow up.
He jumped from fence to fence in this extended two mile Grade 3 novice chase and had Due Reward on his tail as they straightened up for the final three obstacles.
Due Reward was niggled along by Rachael Blackmore coming to the second last where Djingle jumped out to his right.
Due Reward (5/2) was ridden to try and get on terms with Djingle before the last but the latter finished the better in the closing stages to take the spoils by four lengths.
“He's learning and is beginning to cop on to himself,” said John Queally.
“He had won in France on soft so we were optimistic that he would get through it.
“We'll give him a break now and bring him back, maybe in November.
“I don't know where we'll go with him now. He likes flat tracks but I'd say we wouldn't be going to Punchestown or those places, yet anyway, as he's still learning.
“That was a great purse. Max couldn't get to Listowel so it was great that he got over today.”
