Good Decision recorded his second win at Wexford, as he took the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle under Jody McGarvey for Christy Roche.

The nine-year-old son of Kayf Tara hadn't run over hurdles for nearly two years, until his last start at Bellewstown, when he ran a cracker to finish five and a half lengths second to Definite Knockoff.

Sent off a 5/1 shot, he was chasing down Corr Point on the run to the last, and it looked as if he was going to soon get on top.

However Corr Point crashed out at the last under Jonathan Moore, and this left Good Decision to come home an easy fourteen length victor.

Key Account took second at 11/1 under Brian Cawley for Lar Byrne while Jack The Hat who won at Ballinrobe on Tuesday, kept on well to finish third, three parts of a length back under Shane Crimin for Noel Lawlor.

Ricky Doyle was having his first ride over hurdles, and his mount Vic Liath kept on well to take fourth, while the short-priced 7/4 favourite Drumlister could only manage a disappointing fifth under Gareth Malone for Arthur Moore.

Frank Berry, racing manager to winning owner JP McManus, said afterwards: "He ran a blinder at Bellewstown and he jumped great today.

"He handles the ground reasonably well and he is a consistent horse.

"He is in the qualified riders hurdle on the Friday of Galway and he could sneak into that."

Afterwards it was report that Jonathon Moore, rider of Corr Point, broke his collarbone.
