James Dullea's Just Get Cracking added to his already considerable Tramore gains when coming out on top in the Waterford & Tramore Racecourse Directors Handicap Chase.
With a tongue-strap deployed for the first time the Winged Love gelding drifted from 5/1 out to 7/1 but he still proved a length superior to favourite Luckyinmilan at the line.
This was despite the now Tramore four time victor 'missing' the last, though Philip Enright was still able to get what was required out of his mount up the run-in.
"I'm delighted to be talking to yee (the press) again. We haven't had a winner since the autumn. It's great to get it," said Dullea.
"We knew coming here that he'd handle the track, and that he'd handle the ground.
"We hadn't run him for a while, but we were happy enough that we had him ready.
"Philip gave him a great ride, he jumped well bar the last, just to give us a little fright which he likes to do!
"We might have a look at something in Punchestown, he ran in a Grade B there last year and he might go back for that depending on the ground.
"It has been a long winter with this weather and not having a winner. We ran three in Mallow Easter weekend and two of them pulled up, while the other was well-beaten. The whispers were out that my horses were wrong but they just couldn't handle the ground.
"They had been in good form and we had plenty of placed ones, we just had to wait our turn."
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Milsean trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made three bad mistakes and pulled up thereafter.
Oliver McKiernan, trainer of Luckyinmilan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge lost a front shoe.
