Jack Kennedy completed a treble at Kilbeggan this evening, as he partnered Consharon Boy to victory in the feature Like Kilbeggan Races On Facebook Handicap Chase.

Trained by Terence O'Brien, this eight-year-old son of Zagreb was last successful in May of 2016, but was placed on his last two starts at Wexford and Tramore respectively.

Sent off at 6/1 this evening, he raced just behind the leaders, and improved to dispute the lead from three out.

He got to the front after the next, and was ridden out from there to see off the late challenge of William Du Berlais by half a length.

The runner-up was returned at 10/1 under Mark Walsh for Enda Bolger, while Na Trachtalai Abu (6/1) kept on well to finish third, another length and three parts back. Nobody Home was sent off the 5/1 favourite and he finished seventh.

"He deserved that. He beat Monalee in a bumper once upon a time but he's had his problems and the owners have been very patient," said O'Brien.

"Hopefully we can get a run into him now and pick up a few more. He jumps well and has been a great servant.

"That was a nice little prize. I've no plans but we'll tip away in handicap chases for the summer."
