The Bluegrass Horse Feeds Handicap (Div II) went to 22/1 chance Scarlet Seymour who finished best down the outside to beat fancied pair Giorni Felice (10/3) and Adapt to Dan (11/8 fav) by a length and three quarters and a head.

Shane Crosse, who missed a winner at the track on Misty Millie yesterday after a fall in the morning, was quickly back in the swing of things here as Luke Comer’s Elusive Pimpernel 5-year-old gained her first win on her twelfth start.

Rated 67 initially after a couple of fair runs in maidens, she was successful here off a mark of 50.

Jim Gorman, assistant to winning trainer Luke Comer, said: "She's been working very well and been running well but only doubt was the ground but Shane (Crosse) said she handled it very, very well. She had a wide draw and everything against her.

“She was fourth in a maiden at Leopardstown early on and she always had a bit of ability. Our horses are running great now and obviously it just suited her today.

“We'll whip her out again as quickly as we can.”
