Clonville sprang a 20/1 shock when claiming the first division of the seven-furlong handicap at Gowran.
Ronan Whelan was soon to the fore on Jarlath Fahey's charge and she was driven to lead a furlong-and-a-half from home.
The daughter of Thousand Words stuck on gamely in the closing stages to hold the late surge of Full Shilling by a neck.
Clonville's best finish prior to today's win had been sixth at Dundalk earlier this month.
“The last day (at Tipperary) the ground turned for her and she's happier on that kind of surface,” said Whelan.
“She's a very straight-forward gutsy filly and I just wanted to keep it simple enough. She's tough and genuine, she has her level but hopefully she'll win again.
“Jarlath did a good job with her to freshen her up and get her back right for today. He's a good trainer.”
