Burnt Oil Babe takes advantage of her mark

William Murphy saddled Burnt Oil Babe to success in Downpatrick's handicap chase at 10/1 from Loch Na Beaste and Tawrific Laois

Murphy explained her victory. He said: "She was champion point-to-point mare last year and was entitled to win off that mark. She also runs well fresh.

"She finished fifteen lengths ahead of Hi Cloy in a point-to-point and I think Barry Cash gave her a great ride."

The 3/1 favourite Schindlers Society was pulled up early in the race and was found to be lame in his left hind post-race.
