Boy off on break after Fairyhouse win
Champion Boy earned a break when opening his account in the Blanchardstown Handicap at Fairyhouse.
Gary Carroll always had his mount handy and he kicked on over a furlong out to post a length-and-a-half victory over Our Nana Rose
"He's likely to get a break now and come back next year," revealed trainer John Hayden.
"He's just a bit light and will be a nice horse in a year's time. He's a full-brother to Teach Nua (who won two bumpers and a hurdle for Dermot Weld)."
