Bolivar put his rivals to the sword in emphatic style on testing ground in Roscommon.
Billy Lee 's mount broke smartly to take the field along in this extended 10 furlong colts and geldings maiden.
The chasing pack all came under pressure in the home straight and Bolivar increased his advantage racing past the two pole.
The race was over in the final furlong as the French bred was well clear. He readily strode in by a more than healthy 12 lengths at 11/2. Avarice the 5/2 favourite, couldn't lay a glove on him in second. Call Me Rocky completed the placings a further three parts of a length away in third at 9/2.
Trainer Paddy Twomey said: “He’s a nice horse. I bought him as a yearling and have had him since. He’d a nice introduction in Leopardstown a few weeks ago and Napa Valley looks a good horse.
“Mine improve a lot from their first runs and I was thrilled with the improvement he made from then until now.
“I think he’ll be pretty versatile ground wise. It was good to firm at Leopardstown and heavy here.
“We’ll step him up in grade now and see how he gets on.”
Bolivar had finished fifth to Napa Valley (who has since gone in again) on debut at Leopardstown last month.
