After teaming up with Josies Orders in yesterday's Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham, Enda Bolger and Nina Carberry took the three mile Banks race at Punchestown with Quantitativeeasing

The 10-year-old son of Anshan was sent on by Carberry to take a healthy three lengths lead with three quarters of a mile to travel.

The gelding was clearly enjoying himself as he negotiated the obstacles and put in an exuberant leap at the third last.

Once he popped the final hurdle - the 27th obstacle - he galloped on from stablemate Love Rory to win by three and three quarter lengths at 11/4.

Love Rory, in second, was nicely backed from 5/1 in the morning to 10/3. First To Boogie at 66/1 earned plenty of plaudits for his third place.

Enda Bolger said: "That's the first race he's won for us since we got him. He was really sweet today.

"Obviously we were worried about On His Own but the experience was a big help.

"He'll stick to the cross-country races and might go to Cheltenham next month."

Nina Carberry added: "He loved it today, he really has the hang of it now. It has really transformed him.

"He hasn't won in a long time so it is good for his confidence and he did it very well today so hopefully now he can be very competitive in those races.

"Your man (Josies Orders) was getting a lot of weight yesterday which helped towards the end but this fellow he was bang there last year."

Quantitativeeasing was carried out in the Cross Country at the Cheltenham Festival in March when holding every chance at the second last.

On His Own, who was beaten a short head in last year's Cheltenham Gold Cup, couldn't justify 13/8 favouritism in coming home seventh today.
