Boirche weaves way to success
Michael Halford registered a quick double when Banna Boirche swooped on the outside to claim the seven-furlong handicap at Dundalk.
Shane Foley had to weave his way through on the gelding and got to the front inside the final furlong to post a length-and-a-quarter success over Casela Park
"He was unlucky here last time and I had no bother dropping him back a furlong as he travels really well and loves this surface," said Halford.
"He's on the improve. My horses seems to be in good form and love this surface.
"He got a good ride also - Shane did well to get out. He wants a bit of nice ground and will run on grass.
"He's had a few quick runs and unless there was something here for him I wouldn't run him again too quickly."
