Bob Lingo makes all for Fairyhouse win
The Tom Mullins trained Bob Lingo made all, under Mark Walsh, for an overdue debut chase win, in the Murphy Signs Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse today.
Joint favourite Enterprise Park suffered a pelvic injury in a second fence fall while Bob Lingo, who was soon well clear of the field, never saw a rival and stayed on well in the straight for an easy win over Time Electric
Afterwards Mullins stated “they gave him a bit of a lead at the start but he won well in the end. We’ll see what J.P. (McManus, owner) and Frank (Berry, racing manager) say now before making plans.”
